Wine of Roses

In the time of the Inconfidência Mineira, the other side of history. Joaquina was raised in a convent without knowing her origins. At 18, she discovers she is the daughter of Tiradentes and that her mother is alive. She decides to change her destiny and, in doing so, reveals what happened to the women of the Inconfidentes. A delicate portrait of Minas Gerais Baroque, in a lyrical, poetic recovery of Brazil’s history.
